Creative. Professional. Talented. Workforce.
The mission of GET is to foster and cultivate a community of young professionals through partnerships and opportunities that accelerates the talents of emerging leaders throughout Metro Phoenix.
GET is driven by the philosophy that today’s young professionals want connection to others, connection to their community and connection to resources.
Connection to Others: Young Professional's understand the value of networking and the importance of building a strong network for personal and professional success. This program is designed to help young professionals build relationships and strengthen their networking skills.
Connection to Community: Research proves that when a young professional engages in his or her community, they are 2-3 times more likely to put down roots. That translates to staying power. Companies reap the rewards that result from a young professional's decision to invest in their community and grow their career in the same place. Our goal is to help young professionals make a difference in their community.
Connection to Resources: Access to tools, talent and resources directly impacts an individual's ability to "grow" - personally and professionally. Young professionals move at a rapid pace and need to see a clear path of possibilities before them. A young professional’s leadership program can provide the framework for interaction, skill development, mentoring, idea exchange and more, all of which contribute to career development and satisfaction.
GET Phoenix is a workforce and economic development initiative of the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce and is designed to create leadership and professional development opportunities for emerging leaders.
The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to growing the next generation of business and civic leaders by providing opportunities for networking, professional development workshops, community outreach events and access to mentors who can help young professionals achieve success in the workplace.
GET is supported through the generosity of our founding sponsor APS, and founding partner Jobing.com.
