MEMBER SPOTLIGHT Kelsey Waite (GET Vice President 2020) | Homeowners Financial Group
An Arizona native, Kelsey holds a BA in Communications from University of California: Santa Barbara and graduated with Highest Honors in just three years.
She now serves as Marketing Manager at Scottsdale-based mortgage company Homeowners Financial Group, where she guides internal and external branding and communications.
In her free time, she enjoys volunteering for local charitable organizations including Care Fund and Foundation for Blind Children, as well as spending time with her family and friends.
How did you start getting involved with GET?
Aside from the amazing and supportive friends I've made (and I'm not just saying that!), my favorite part about GET Phoenix is the diverse range of programming.
The rotation between networking, self-development, and philanthropy keeps the events feeling fresh and helps attendees grow in a well-rounded way. I recommend trying all three formats!
Why did you decide to become a GET Phoenix Member?
I was initially looking for a young professionals group simply to boost my resume, but I knew right away that I wanted to do more to expand GET's reach.
This organization has given me so much - true friends who are there for me, a space to further develop skills, and new ways to help my community - and I wanted to give back.
Continuing GET's mission means that more people will be able to experience the benefits and joys of GET Phoenix.
