Inevitable. To ON Advertising’s VP of Marketing Strategy Noah Dyer, the connection between hypnotism and marketing was quite logical. Dyer first delved into the human psyche while studying psychology at ASU. Soon after, he was developing and programming video games, obtained his MBA, began building websites (which lead to becoming an expert in SEO) and taught both at the grade school and college level. His wide range of experiences ultimately focused in on human motivation.
Whether building video games or creating marketing strategies, the key is understanding what will drive a person to play the game, purchase a product or simply pay attention to an idea. It was only natural that when Dyer became interested in hypnotism a few years ago his marketing acumen linked the two together. And thus, hypno-marketing was born.
Dyer will expound on this intriguing topic at this month’s GET to Learn on August 31. Beginning with a stage hypnotism act, he will then illuminate the links between the psychology of hypnotism and creating killer marketing strategies. Strategies that have mechanisms for measuring ROI and deliver it. In the background, making sure Noah doesn’t fall flat on his face, will be Melissa Weinberger, a full time project manager at Melt Media, and part time lovely assistant.
