We know you’re busy, and we know it can be overwhelming to look at your calendar and see just how many awesome, insightful events are coming up that you want to go to, but may not have the time. That’s why each month, we’ll hand pick a few events for young professionals in and around the valley for you to consider - including our own, of course!

FEATURED - GET to Give: Arizona Helping Hands

Where: Arizona Helping Hands


The Deets: GET Phoenix volunteers will play an extremely important role as AZ Helping Hands prepares for their end of the year audit and help us inventory their new warehouse. Make new friends and mingle with familiar faces as we tackle and count together all of the essential items that go to the precious babies, kids and teens in foster care. Your participation is truly appreciated. Please dress comfortably and wear closed-toe shoes. More info and tickets




Summer Jazz & Wine

When: June 2nd

Where: Japanese Friendship Garden


The Deets: Step out and groove in our traditional Japanese Garden while enjoying live jazz and Happy Hour prices on wine, Sapporo beer, and sake! More info and tickets




1 Million Cups

When: June 12th

Where: Novel Coworking (Midtown Phoenix)


The Deets: 1 Million Cups is a free, national program designed to educate, engage and connect entrepreneurs. Developed by the Kauffman Foundation, 1MC is based on the notion that entrepreneurs discover solutions over a million cups of coffee. Each week, 2 entrepreneurs will present their businesses, followed by Q&A and networking. Anyone who supports the Phoenix Entrepreneurship Community is welcome! More info and tickets




Startup Grind: Hear from Anthony Kennada

Where: Galvanize Phoenix


The Deets: Anthony Kennada is the CMO of Gainsight and has spent the last six years creating a new market category in Customer Success by focusing on community building, content marketing, and live events that both build the brand and fuel it’s incredible growth. Millennial Mixer with Greater Phoenix Urban League

When: June 20th

Where: The Park


The Deets: Take a break from Netflixing and CHilling and meet up for some drinks and networking instead! Join YNPN Phoenix and the Great Phoenix Urban League Young Professional after work at the Park in Downtown Phoenix. This is a great opportunity to connect and engage with the people working together to sustain Phoenix’s economic and social well-being. More info and tickets




Suds and Slides

When: June 22nd

Where: Mesa Riverview Park


The Deets: Round up your squad and get ready for ice cold beer, spirits, water slides, summer bites and a dozen summer camp themed games at Suds & Slides - with grownups only activities including giant inflatable water slides, tug of war, a dunk tank, three-legged race, giant pillow fight, mini golf, beer pong, life sized foosball, and a live action hungry hippos game.
