Go for Launch! with Astronaut Mark Kelly

When: July 6th

Where: Arizona Science Center


The Deets: Grab your friends, family, and neighbors for a space-tacular day! American Astronaut and U.S. Navy Captain Mark Kelly joins us to officially launch our month-long 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Apollo 11 Mission. Kelly will spend the day meeting guests and engaging with the Center’s more than 300 hands-on exhibits, leading two planetarium presentations, and hosting a film showing of Apollo 11: First Steps Edition. More info and tickets




Paint Night on the Patio - AZ Starry Night

When: July 11th

Where: OHSO Brewery Paradise Valley


The Deets: There is absolutely no artistic ability needed! Come as you are and the leaders will teach you, step-by-step. Customize your painting with your favorite colors. Beat the summer heat on the covered patio at OHSO Brewery - Paradise Valley! With misters and coolers, you’re sure to have a FUN night! More info and tickets




String Art Class with Mimosas - Cancer Support Community Arizona

When: July 14th

Where: Cancer Support Community Arizona


The Deets: Giai Tat, a longtime and committed Cancer Support Community Arizona volunteer is hosting a string class in a couple of weeks to raise funds for our cancer Participants. More info and tickets




Beer 'n Bingo

When: July 19th

Where: Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art


The Deets: Anwar Newton hosts an evening of craft beer and bingo with a SMoCA twist. Bring a date, bring a friend, or come and play on your own. This is not your grandmother’s bingo night! Expect an evening full of laughter, good beer, and competition. Free craft beer sample. Cash bar and snacks included. More info and tickets




Project RED

When: July 20th



The Deets: Project RED, presented by MAC Viva Glam and M·A·C Cosmetics, is Aunt Rita's Foundation first-ever fashion show that will feature local designers, acts, fabulous cocktails and delicious food! At Project RED we'll walk you through the history of HIV & AIDS portrayed through a series of fashion time periods! Proceeds from the event will benefit 13 partner agencies that provide critical services to those living with, or affected by, HIV/AIDS! More info and tickets




SHE Talks

When: July 25th

Where: Arizona Community Foundation


The Deets: Nancy Tengler, Chief Investment Strategist at ButcherJoseph Asset Management/Tengler Wealth Management, will be discussing accessibility of financial security and investing for women across all socio-economic levels. Nancy is a frequent contributor on CNBC and publishes a monthly column on USA Today. More info and tickets




Kitten Yoga

When: July 28th

Where: Scottsdale Quarter


The Deets: NaMEOWste! This class will be taught by a certified yoga instructor in partnership with the Scottsdale Quarter. Tickets are $20, with 100% of your class fee going directly to the Arizona Animal Welfare League to help rescue more than 1,200 baby kittens in need this summer season. Class participants will be able to have “pick-of-the-litter” on all adoptable kittens before the Kitten Pop Up Shop opens at 10AM. More info and tickets
