Favorite thing about GET Phoenix is...
Helping people make connections at the hippest places in town!
Joined the board because...
I was inspired after my first event in 2011 and wanted to be part of a thriving and bright group that has made an impact in my life.
Fun fact about Marcelle?
I grew up dancing the Polka!
I actively support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society that helps fight against Cancer in fundraising campaigns and yearly events. I am inspired and proud of my dear friend Jen Swanton who is a strong survivor and warrior of Leukemia. She was was diagnosed with a blood cancer at the age of 15 years old shortly after her birthday. Our hope is that one day no child will have to hear the words "you have cancer" and wonder if they will live long enough to celebrate their next birthday. I admire her strength, her spirit, her heart that helps others and never letting go of faith that has helped her through to live an amazing life!
Please join me in this years' upcoming Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk which funds treatments that are saving the lives of patients today. LLS is making cures happen by providing patient support services, advocating for lifesaving treatments and pioneering the most promising cancer research anywhere. And it's all happening now. Not someday, but today. Join me in support and celebration of Jen Swanton this year where we can gather together to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by cancer.
Thank you for allowing me to share with you, to ask for your support, and to give LIGHT to cancer. Your generosity and kindness is appreciated.
