We know you’re busy, and we know it can be overwhelming to look at your calendar and see just how many awesome, insightful events are coming up that you want to go to, but may not have the time. That’s why each month, we’ll hand pick a few events for young professionals in and around the valley for you to consider - including our own, of course!

FEATURED - GET to Give: Community Connections

Where: Angel’s Trumpet Ale House


The Deets: Join GET Phoenix Young Professionals, Greater Phoenix Urban League Young Professionals, and Young Nonprofit Professionals Network for our "Community Connections" meet-up at Angels Trumpet Ale House Arcadia! Enjoy an evening of mingling, appetizers, drink specials and networking activities.


At this event, you will:

- Meet like minded young professionals who care about the community

- Discover local nonprofit organizations, volunteer opportunities, and other ways to give back

- Connect with peers who are making a difference right here in the Valley

- Learn about all three young professional organizations and their missions

Powerhouse Women 2019

The Deets: This event is for you if: You're a woman ready to expand in your career, business, or life and you feel like there is MORE for you, You craving genuine connections with like-minded women who will support you, You're SO ready to ditch self-doubt and fear, and confidently go after your big ideas, dreams, and goals - Girl, you don't have to do this alone! More info and tickets



Talking Stick Resort Amateur Golf Championship

When: September 6th

Where: Talking Stick Resort


The Deets: Talking Stick Resort is excited to announce the 1st Annual Talking Stick Resort Amateur Golf Championship. The tournament will span three days, multiple resort events, and, in the end, will crown winners for each of six flights. MessyFest for Adults

When: September 14th

Where: Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre


The Deets: Calling all parents, young adults, seniors and those looking to have a good time sans the kids(while acting like kids). How about Messy Fest just for adults? Have fun at an adults only session. That means you can slime your spouse, food fight your friends, dance away the night in the foam party and more. More info and tickets




Bends & Brunch

When: September 15th

Where: Yoga at Scottsdale Civic Park (Northeast Lawn), Brunch at Riot House Scottsdale


The Deets: Who doesn't love yoga and brunch? Bends & Brunch is a charity event for young professionals to raise money for Homeward Bound, a nonprofit organization that creates pathways out of poverty for homeless families. Each ticket includes 1 Hour Yoga, Brunch at Riot House, Round of Beers/Mimosas, After party at Riot House, and Custom Fanny Pack! Your ticket donation will help with housing, life skills, job help, and childhood education. Mexican Independence Day Celebration

When: September 15th

Where: ASU Art Museum


The Deets: In celebration of Mexico’s Independence Day, join us at the ASU Art Museum to honor the contributions and culture of the Mexican and Mexican-American communities. The event will feature a keynote lecture by ASU Art Museum Curator Julio César Morales titled “Adios Cinco de Mayo: Decolonizing an American Holiday.” Afterwards, enjoy the celebration with local culinary delights, music, dance and art. The event is free and open to the public. More info




Fish & Sips: Happy Hour at OdySea Aquarium

When: September 19th

Where: OdySea Aquarium


The Deets: Dive into Happy Hour “Under the Sea” during Fish & Sips at OdySea Aquarium. Enjoy craft brews, wine, cocktails and food as you journey through one of the largest aquariums in the country. Two floors of fun with over-sized yard games on the upper level and live music on the lower level. Get close to Sea Turtles, Sea Lions, and Sharks while you walk through OdySea Voyager. More info and tickets




St. Jude Walk/Run Phoenix

When: September 28th

Where: Westworld of Scottsdale


The Deets: The St. Jude Walk/Run Phoenix is a nationwide family-friendly 5K walk and timed run benefiting the life-saving mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and you can help raise funds and awareness by signing up to walk, run, sponsor or volunteer at the St. Jude Walk/Run Phoenix! Participants can sign up as an individual or team and earn prizes by fundraising for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Registration is open! More info and tickets
