The beginning of a new year is a time for optimism, fresh starts, and exciting new plans.
For many 2020 what turbulent to say the least. GET Phoenix was presented with it’s own set of challenges, but it was those challenges that gave us the opportunity for growth as an organization.

Hosted our first virtual events.
Raised thousands of dollars for UMOM, AZ Helping Hands, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona, and BLM organizations.
Saw our members get promotions and better paying jobs as a direct result of their involvement with GET Phoenix
The optimism and excitement of the new year has given the GET Phoenix Board of Directors a renewed focus on the mission that attracted us all to the organization in the first place.

Opportunities to GET Noticed: We know that attending a networking event can be daunting. To make it easier for new and prospective members to integrate into GET Phoenix’s benefits, activities, and events we’re introducing an ambassador program.
The GET Phoenix Ambassador Program will serve as a kind of welcoming committee to guests and new members.
So if you’re a new member, prospective member, or thinking about attending your first GET event please email membership@getphoenix.org so that we can connect you with an ambassador who can answer all your questions and help you get the most out of your GET Phoenix experience.

Opportunities to GET Generous: GET Phoenix has a long history of supporting the mission of nonprofits here in the valley. That history includes a tradition of quarterly service projects and fundraisers - we call these our GET to Give events.
Of course, 2020 made getting together to lend a hand much more challenging. So in place of our typical GET to Give style service projects we made fundraising a focal point. As a result GET Phoenix was able to make some of the biggest donations we’ve ever made.
In the interest of growing generosity and maximizing the positive impact GET Phoenix can have on our local community, GET Phoenix will be fundraising for a single organization each quarter.
This fundraising effort will go above and beyond the normal donations GET’s board of directors makes from the cash surplus generated by event ticket sales (ticket sales, less operating expenses).
